Having noted your communication in the Eye I would like to enquire as to the possibility of upcoming open days at Swinestead. Upon visiting, I fully expect to be roundly ignored by head as a prospective pupil and left in some antechamber with a school photo album whilst he completes sales pitch to my aged Ps - no chance of any uncomfortable moments eh!? While I am there I wish to hear tales of how the scholars in 1790 had to bathe in a freezing millpond and view a collection of tapestries celebrating the institution's enviable achievements in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme (Bronze).
